Associate Clinical Director / Clinical Architect
Joshua Levi Love, MA, MDiv, LPC Associate, LCDC, NCC serves as the Associate Clinical Director and Clinical Architect at The River Wellness Texas, where he leads clinical program development and helps shape the organization’s innovative approach to mental health, addiction, process addictions, and family recovery.
With extensive experience across the behavioral health continuum, Joshua has developed and implemented treatment programming in residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient settings. His clinical expertise includes substance use disorders, compulsive sexual behavior, process addictions, trauma, family systems, relational healing, and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Joshua is the creator of The Human Ecology of Recovery™, a systems-oriented clinical framework designed to address the biological, psychological, relational, and environmental factors that influence recovery and long-term wellness. His approach integrates evidence-based treatment, trauma-informed care, family systems work, and meaning-centered interventions to help individuals and families achieve lasting transformation.
Throughout his career, Joshua has served in senior clinical leadership roles within multidisciplinary treatment environments, leading teams of medical, psychiatric, and clinical professionals while designing innovative treatment models, family programming, educational initiatives, and recovery-focused clinical systems. He is particularly passionate about helping individuals and families heal from the effects of addiction, relational trauma, compulsive behaviors, and disconnection.
