Claudia Ivette Lampl is an experienced bilingual counselor and neurofeedback therapist. She began researching neurofeedback and self-regulation at Southern Methodist University where she earned a M.S. in counseling in 2009. While at SMU, she collaborated with Health Psychologist Dr. Ephrem Fernandez, researching pain, anger and emotion in studies funded by the NIH (National Institutes of Health).
Since graduating with her Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University, she has worked treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, complex trauma, eating disorders and self-harming behaviors using both neurofeedback and counseling. As part of the team at Momentous Institute for over a decade, she provided training and supervision and led a team of clinicians. Ivette served for the SMU Counseling Board for 5 years and continues to support the training of SMU graduates through clinical supervision. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist supervisor in the state of Texas.
Ivette continues to study the field of Applied Psychophysiology as this allows her to expand on her knowledge and stay informed on the innovations that continue to support her clients. She is the practice owner of Advanced Neurofeedback and Family Therapy Center in Dallas, where individuals have the opportunity to improve their mental and physical wellbeing by having access to evidence based therapy approaches and advanced technologies to support emotional regulation and brain functioning.
As part of The Psychiatric Eating Disorder Program at Children’s in Plano, she provides family therapy, group therapy and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team (registered dieticians, clinicians, medical doctors and nurses) to support the recovery of patients with eating disorders.
Ivette is a native from Mexico City and passionate about the connection between culture and environment, with the belief that through self-knowledge, we connect to the world and live with authenticity.
